Main Hall

Main Hall - This can be used for Coffee Mornings, Parties, Dances, Community Cinema, Play productions and any other private functions you may wish to hold. Seating for up to 200 theatre style. 

Also available

  • A sound system with induction loop for hearing-aid users, with cable mike or headset radio mike. Multi use with Bluetooth and USB connections.
  • A ceiling light system that projects coloured lights onot the ceiling, perfect for parties and theatre shows.
  • Full size projection screen, the curtains have blackout linings so the hall can be darkened for projection etc.
Main Hall Kitchen, another larger kitchen is available on the next floor.  Ladies toliet downstairs.

The hall can provide many items to assist with your event , please see the extra facilitles below:

White table cloths - hire charge of £65 for full set  12 small tables and 10 large tables (to cover dry cleaning bill) if using less amount of cloths bill will be less.

Set of dinner plates in either red or green or both, no hire charge £20 refundable deposit once returned.

Full set of cutlery for approx 80 people.

Beer pump and glass hire.

SAT 10th November "PALS" 

 Silver dale Village Players present'Pals' will be performing to commemorate the end of World War I.

A performance in prose, poetry and song telling the story of the Accrington, Barnsley and Sheffield ‘Pals’ Battalion.
Starting at  7pm for 7.30pm.

There is only one performance and tickets will cost £10. They will go on sale in the newsagents on Saturday October 27th. 

All profits will be donated to the Royal British Legion.



 Taking place between 5 and 8pm at the Gaskell Hall.

Lots of beautiful gifts and treats to buy for your loved ones for Christmas.

It’s all for funds to help the children in school.

Wed 5th - Sat 8th DEC -"SCROOGE"

This year's Panto is 'Scrooge - the Pantomime', by Andrew Winfield. 

It will be performed on Wednesday to Saturday 5-8 December.  This year it will be 'theatre seating' on Wednesday and Thursday, and 'Cabaret' style on the Friday and Saturday.

Tickets will be £10 for adults and £5 for children on Wednesday and Thursday, and £10 for all on Friday and Saturday - no concessions.

Tickets will be on sale in the Newsagents from Saturday 10 November at 10.00am.
